In this most recent project that took one year to complete, Gavriel created the Celestial Chessboard as a metaphor to the inner conversation we all have in a physical realm. 'We are all players on the board of reality.’ To Gavriel's method: each piece on the chessboard represents a quality; the knight is our drive, the queen our intuition and so on, all of which together reflect on the player’s personality and what qualities rule his game.

Gavriel Fisher, 47, Israel. Learning the secrets of classic sculpture from his mentor Michael Mandelc (Australia) Gavriel practices the 'Henry Moore' studio discipline and holds secret knowledge of sculpture and art production that is being passed through generations.
